Sin Eater (2024)
Award winning short film based on the real practice of sin-eating, the film is spoken in Gaelic. A Sin-eater was a historical occupation in 16-19th century England, Wales and Scotland where individuals were called to funerals to consume a meal in front of the deceased. By eating the food, they symbolically absorbed the deceased’s sins, allowing the dead to be absolved and enter heaven.+
